The cozy charm of the historic building made my stay unforgettable. The breakfast was the highlight, served on a three-tiered tray with yogurt parfaits, fresh fruit cups, and warm, flaky croissants. The owner, Carrie, made sure every detail was perfect. My room, the Deluxe Queen Room, had a lovely sitting area with a gas fireplace, perfect for unwinding. However, the bed was hard and not very comfortable, which affected my sleep. Also, the stairs to the upper rooms can be quite a workout, especially with luggage. This might be a concern for some guests. Despite the hard bed and the stairs, I truly enjoyed my experience here.

charming breakfast in a historic school
Staying in the beautifully restored schoolhouse felt like stepping into a time capsule, with each room exuding unique character. Breakfast was served on a delightful tiered tray, featuring yogurt parfaits and warm pastries. Carrie, our host, was welcoming and attentive, ensuring our stay was nothing short of delightful.
Bear in mind that the rooms upstairs require climbing quite a few stairs, which could be a hassle for some guests carrying luggage.

private lock, spacious room, good natural light
Climbing all those stairs to reach the rooms was a real workout, not ideal for those with heavy luggage!!! Plus, a picnic area would be a nice touch for some relaxation instead of just the indoor facilities!!!

Climbing up twenty stairs to reach the room could be daunting, especially for those with heavy luggage. The bathroom being separate from the bedroom adds a layer of inconvenience that may take some getting used to.
